During my first years of stay in Sevilla, Triana specifically, each time returning to vote in San Fernando. This close, very close to my house, is the electoral college and here I am writing in each case, to renew the hopes and my faith in democracy. I know it is fashionable to be non-believer or skeptic, but in my case, it is impossible not to remember other times, some because I have lived and others because I have known through the testimony of individuals and the study of history. So I always tell my students not to stop thinking of the good fortune to have by being born in a democratic state of law, as dictatorships still exist and life without freedom is something that, once democracy has been known , is a slab terrible.
